Cornwall Community Foundation is asking people to donate to the new Cornwall Flood Fund, so it can give small, emergency grants in the coming weeks to people badly affected by the floods in Mevagissey, St. Blazey, Lostwithiel and Pentewan.

The fund is hoping to raise a total of £100,000. The website www.justgiving.com/cornwallfloodfund gives a running total of how much has been raised so far.

There are a number of ways to give:

1) Post cheques to Cornwall Community Foundation at Suite 1, Sheers Barton, Lawhitton, Launceston, Cornwall, PL15 9NJ, made payable to Cornwall Flood Fund.
2) On line, either at www.cornwallfoundation.com or www.justgiving.com/cornwallfloodfund
